Dear Parents,

It’s been a vibrant and positive week in the High School, filled with learning, celebration, and community connection. Our Wellbeing Week brought intentional moments of mindfulness and balance into classrooms, and we’re grateful to our Wellbeing Council and the many faculty who led sessions for both students and staff.

Our campus was energized by the launch of the Artists in Residence program, giving students hands-on experiences with Tanjore painting, wood carving, and metal casting—an incredible opportunity to connect with the artistic heritage of Tamil Nadu. We also celebrated our Mathletes participating in the American Mathematics Competition, as well as the tremendous success of CHEMUN last weekend, which brought together 600 students from within AISC and visiting schools.

We’re looking forward to a busy week ahead with Discovery Day on Wednesday, November 19, as students step outside their regular schedules to explore new interests and experiences. And tonight, our Student Council are hosting our Tropical-themed HOCO, which promises to be a fun and memorable evening for our students.

Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead.

Pathways Series Session 2: Discover the IB Diploma Program

Tuesday, November 18 • 5:30–6:45 PM •  Madras Hall

We warmly invite all High School parents and students to join us for the second session of our AISC Pathways Series: Discover Your Path to Graduation. This week, we turn our focus to the IB Diploma Program, an important and rigorous pathway available to our students as they consider their course selections for the next academic year.

This session will help families understand what makes the IB Diploma unique and how it fits into the broader landscape of options at AISC. Highlights include:

  • The Big Picture: An overview of the pathway and its core components.
  • Program Deep Dive: Led by Ms. Lisa, IBDP Coordinator, with insights from student guest speakers.
  • Pathways & University Readiness: Our College Counseling Team will share how colleges worldwide view different pathways and how students can leverage their choices to support strong applications and future goals.

If you are unable to attend, please don’t worry – the session will be video recorded, and both the recording and slides will be shared afterward.

We look forward to partnering with you as your child begins to chart their unique journey toward graduation.
