Dear AISC Families,

Today marks the start of CHEMUN XIX, one of the signature events of our school year! With over half of our secondary students participating, this is a remarkable showcase of leadership, global awareness, and collaboration. This year’s theme, “Innovation in the Digital Age,” invites our delegates to explore both the opportunities and challenges technology presents for our shared future.

Next week is Well Week, organized by our Wellbeing Council, with activities focused on connection, balance, and self-care. And don’t forget — Homecoming is Friday, November 14th! We look forward to celebrating our community spirit together. 🦅💚

Warm regards,

Ms. Justyna, Mr. Galaty and Mr. Kader

Discover Your Path to Graduation – The AISC Pathways Series

We warmly invite you to attend our special Pathways Series, a set of three informative sessions designed to help your family explore the academic opportunities available in the High School as students begin to think about their course choices for the next academic year.

These sessions will focus on the AP Program, the IB Diploma Program, and our Personalized Learning approach. Each is a unique journey to graduation, crafted to ensure every student has access to challenge, purpose, and growth aligned with their strengths and aspirations, connecting back to our Core and Vision for a Learner.

This is an essential opportunity for both parents and students to come and discover what is different and unique about each pathway and how it fits into the bigger picture for your child as they start to chart their own unique journey to graduation.

Discover the AP Program  November 11  @5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

Discover the IB Diploma Program November 18   @5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

Discover Personalized Learning at AISC November 25 @5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

Each session is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the pathway, covering:

  • The Big Picture: Reconnecting to our school’s mission and articulating why AISC offers multiple pathways to develop the skills, mindsets, and competencies students need for success beyond school.
  • Program Deep Dive: Detailed overviews, course offerings, how students enter the program, and key features, featuring insights and tips from our student guest speakers.
  • Pathways and University Readiness: Expert guidance from our College Counseling Team on how each pathway is viewed by colleges and universities worldwide and how students can leverage their choices to enhance applications and align with higher education goals.

We understand that you may not be able to attend all sessions. For those unable to join us, the meetings will be video recorded, and the presentation slides will be shared shortly after each event.

We look forward to seeing you there as we begin this exciting conversation about your child’s academic future at AISC!

Celebrating Our SAISA Season 1 Teams!

A huge congratulations to all our SAISA Season 1 athletes and coaches who represented AISC with such pride and excellence in Colombo, Muscat, and Amman!

Beyond medals and standings, what stood out most was our students’ Raptor Spirit, resilience, and sportsmanship — both in competition and while cheering on their teammates. They truly embodied our school values of integrity, teamwork, and respect.

A heartfelt thank you as well to our coaches for their dedication, mentorship, and countless hours of preparation. Your guidance and care make all the difference.

Saisa Season 1 Summary

Discover India

Thank you for your partnership and support throughout this year’s Discover India program. We are proud to share that we received a record number of student survey responses, and we have carefully reviewed feedback from both students and faculty.

The feedback shared by our community has been incredibly valuable. It confirms what we already know: Discover India remains one of the most meaningful and well-loved experiences at AISC. Students consistently highlighted the joy of exploring India, connecting with peers, and learning beyond the classroom.

At the same time, the responses also helped us identify areas where the program can continue to grow. Over the coming weeks, the Discovery Crew Steering Committee and I will be using this feedback to guide thoughtful improvements that enhance safety, clarity, learning outcomes, and the overall student experience.

Thank you for everything you have done;  from helping students prepare before departure to supporting them during and after the trip. We are excited for the future of Discover India and look forward to sharing more about the enhancements we plan to introduce in the weeks ahead.

Discovery Day

We are excited to share that Discovery Day is coming up on Wednesday, November 19. Discovery Day is one of our most meaningful High School traditions; an opportunity for students to explore new interests, engage in hands-on learning, and connect with our school’s commitment to service, curiosity, and personal passion.

Throughout the day, students will participate in a wide range of teacher- and student-led activities designed to help them discover something new about themselves or the world around them. Many activities are rooted in service learning, encouraging students to think about the impact they can have on their community. Others are designed to spark passion, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving; all essential elements of our Vision for a Learner.

Student sign-ups for Discovery Day activities will open on Monday and remain open throughout the week. Students will be able to browse the full list of offerings and choose experiences that are meaningful or exciting to them. We encourage families to discuss the options together and support students in selecting activities that match their interests and goals.

We look forward to another joyful and inspiring Discovery Day, and we are grateful for your partnership in helping students embrace curiosity, service, and exploration.

Have a good weekend

Ms. Justyna, Mr. Galaty and Mr. Kader
