Dear Parents and Students,

Yearbooks are out (all students receive a Yearbook free of charge).  Seniors attended their last classes.  Final alternative assessments are fully underway and concluding next week. 200 students and several chaperones will be at the Taj Wellington Mews this Saturday for StuCo’s Prom. We have our Farewell Ceremony (students and staff only) and Mission Recognition Ceremony (parent invite only).  Graduation is around the corner.  It is time for celebrations, ending well and farewells, together…

Department Vision of a Learner Awards

Each semester, all High School departments recognize one student in each grade level as exemplifying the Vision for an AISC Learner in that subject that semester. This is the last group of outstanding students to be recognized under our outgoing Vision. As Mr. Norm Coady shared in our recognition ceremony, we are proud of all AISC HS students as we all strive, together, toward our Vision. We recognize the following students specially:

Repeat: Semester 2 Final Exam and Assessment Schedule May 30-June 3

Please use this link to view the Semester 2 final exam schedule. The second tab shows those classes that have an alternative semester final assessment due during the revision period May 26-29.

The revision period May 26-29 is when students either submit/present their alternative semester final assessments, or review for their final exam (May 30-June 3).

The last day of regular classes is Thursday, May 29. The first day of final exams is Friday, May 30.  Final exams occur either 9:00-11:00 am or 1:00-3:00 pm. During final exams May 30, June 1-3, high school students need to attend school only for their final exam time period. For example, if a student has a Monday, June 1 Science exam – they should be in school by 8:30 am as usual and at the exam room by 8:45. If the student does not have a Monday, June 1 afternoon exam, they may leave school after their morning Science exam. If a student has an afternoon exam, and no morning exam, they may arrive at school later than 8:30 am.

Once a student has completed their last final exam, they do not need to attend school, as all classes are over. They are welcome to come to complete final tasks such as returning materials, to pick up paperwork, and to say farewell to teachers and staff.

Returning school materials

All students must return all school materials (textbooks, equipment, library materials) that have been checked out to them. If materials are not returned, we will contact you and the student. In the case of unreturned materials, school reports and documents will not be shared until the materials are returned, or a fee for replacement is paid.

If you have any questions, please email hsoffice@aischennai.org

Graduation 2025

All are invited to celebrate the class of 2025 at AISC HS Graduation, from 4:00-6:00 pm in the FAC Theater.  There is reserved seating for all graduates’ families, and open seating for all AISC community members. The event will also be live-streamed.  A short reception (hors d’oeuvres) follows in the FAC Atrium, with photo booths available.
