SVF

Good Morning everyone,

Our very own Student Voices Forum (SVF) had one of their meetings yesterday. They discussed lots of upcoming fun filled events that they have planned for the school year. An interesting topic came up during their conversation; ‘Which chocolate was their favorite?’ The most votes went to ‘Reese’s Pieces’. A popular American chocolate, made up of peanut butter, chocolate, and peanuts.

Would you agree with them? What is your favorite chocolate?

Have an amazing day,

Students please remember to accompany your parents for conferences on Thursday and Friday.

If you are travelling for SAISA your parents can come for conferences without you.

MS Library

Two Sentence Horror

“Margaret,” she calls, in that horrifyingly sweet voice that gives me the chills, and I see her, her lifeless, pitch black eyes meeting my gaze. I look away, and when I look back, she’s there, smiling at me with a knife in her hand.

It’s the spookiest month and the library wants to hear how truly scary middle schoolers can be! Can you write an original spooky/creepy/scary/terrifying story in just two sentences? Let Ms. Babs know by sending your stories to her at bbarbara@aischennai.org (subject: Two Sentence Horror) by October 28th. All stories will be publicized, but some very special stories could also receive some extra attention!

I stared at the fluffy little squirrel with horror in my eyes. Its eyes were the color of blood, and it was gnawing on the bones of my little sister.

I heard my mother calling my name for dinner. She has been dead for five years.
