Today’s Schedule
High School Exam Review Week and Semester 1 exams
- Monday will be an A1 day. Classes will have the planned instruction supporting alternative final assessments and revision for the final exam.
- There will be no clubs or sports activities on Monday, December 16.
- Semester Final Exams will be Tuesday-Friday. Please find the updated final exam calendar here.
December 19 and 20
The planned additional activities for Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20 are canceled.
- Thus, as in past years, your semester ends when your last exam concludes.
For example, if your last exam is on Thursday afternoon, December 19, you do not attend school on Friday.
- You are welcome to come to school after your last exam to complete any final tasks or responsibilities.
- Please note that teachers are not available except by appointment, as they will be proctoring exams or grading.
- Please note that same-day re-entry to campus is not allowed.
Note: Semester 1 report cards will be shared on Friday, January 24.

Model United Nations (MUN) Impact Club – holiday craft sale
The High School Model United Nations (MUN) Impact Club is organizing a handmade holiday craft sale to raise funds for providing sanitary products to girls in the Roma colonies. These communities face significant challenges, as Roma people in Chennai are often excluded from attending government schools and are denied access to ration cards. Menstrual hygiene remains a critical issue for young women in these colonies.

Wi-Fi on campus
Starting Tuesday, November 26 at 6:00 PM, the Guest Wi-Fi will be temporarily unavailable until further notice while the school performs essential network maintenance. All students should connect through the High School Wifi, the password is “highschool”. In addition, the High School Wifi has been upgraded so that it can now provide students with:
- greater flexibility,
- improved access to websites,
- unrestricted YouTube,
- increased bandwidth,
- and better speeds.
Each login session lasts only one day, so students will need to re-connect each morning when they arrive on campus. If a student attempts to login to the High School Wifi and is finding issues with the credentials or if any student needs any other support, please visit the RaptorsByte or the IT Office.

AP Self-Study registration
If you would like to self-study and sit for an AP Exam in May 2025, please send Ms. Lisa Levi (llisa@aischennai.org) and Ms. Sunita (ssunita@aischennai.org) an email noting the AP subject you would like to self-study.
In addition, please note the following:
- The cost per subject is USD 129.
- The deadline for registration without a late fee is November 15, 2024
- After November 15 you can cancel your registration but a $40 late fee will apply
- The final late deadline is March 15th, 2025
Please also note that self-study students do not get access to AP Classroom but will get access to the full subject guide and unit guide.
You can cancel your registration for a refund until March 15, 2025 (you will not receive a refund of the $40 late fee, however).You will sit for the AP exam at AISC in May 2025. You will receive examination information in April.If you have a question, please email Ms Lisa (llisa@aischennai.org

Pre-arranged Absence
Students intending to take a planned absence from school are required to complete the Pre-excused absence form, link here. The completed form needs to be submitted to the High School office 2 days prior to the absence.
Ti-Nspire Calculator Purchase
Students who would like to purchase a Ti-Nspire graphing calculator may please contact Ms Sunita (ssunita@aischennai.org). Payment of Rs 16000/- needs to be made via bank transfer to the AISC account.
Locks and Lockers
HS students who would like to use a locker may please collect one from Ms. Sunita in the High School Office. Please note that you are responsible for the lock and the lock needs to be returned at the end of the school year.
