Today’s Schedule

Senior Seminar today
Seniors- Today’s the day for Grade 12 Counselor Seminar! Ms. Francis and Mrs. Killmer are looking forward to seeing you during lunch today in Madras Hall. Grab or bring your lunch and we’ll be starting promptly at 11:50.
San José State University, California – Visit
Attention Grade 9,10 and 11 students.
San Jose University will be visiting our school on January 17th from 11:15-12:00 (lunch time). The presentation will be held in Madras Hall. Please do not miss this opportunity to learn more about academic programs, admission requirements, and campus life. The representative will also be giving a mini workshop on the “College Essay” and Ms. Francis will also be handing out resources that can support your writing process. Please click on the link to sign up for the presentation and workshop. If you have any questions please contact or see Ms. Francis.
Call for Quarter 3 Activities:
If you have an activity you’d like to add (or remove) from this list of activities from Quarter 2, fill in this form by Thursday morning, so we can get it added and then roll out sign up forms for everyone. We’ll launch all new Q3 activities on Tuesday, January 16th. Existing activities can, of course, continue this week!
Cabaret
AISC’s annual talent show — Cabaret — is back. If you have the talent, we’ve got the stage. Or should we say, the Big Top? This year’s theme for the Cabaret is The Grand Cabaret Circus. If you can sing, dance, juggle, ride a unicycle, play a musical instrument (even better if you can do it all at the same time) or if you possess any other talent that you think deserves the stage, this is your cue to start rehearsing. Auditions are coming soon. Guidelines for this year: Your performance should be no more than 5 minutes long. To allow for as much participation as possible, while having a reasonably lengthed show, students will be limited to one performance. Please complete this form by January 5th. We’ll see you at the show!
Drop/Add period – Monday, January 8 – Tuesday, January 16
Students are able to request Semester 2 course/schedule changes for the first six days of the semester. If you would like to inquire about the possibility of a course/schedule change, please see Ms. Priya, and she will work with you to find a time to meet with your counselor. Important note: Several courses are full, and some course changes may not be possible. There may be waiting lists for course changes.
