If you’re interested in running for any of these positions, please come to our informational meeting at BBT before school on Tuesday, March 7th at 8:00 am.
Expected to last at most 15 minutes, the meeting will provide you necessary information about campaigning, speeches, and qualifications required to run for the position. Nomination forms will also be provided during the meeting.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact us through one of these email addresses: kbyeongchan23@aischennai.org, ckaran24@aischennai.org, gshanmuga23@aischennai.org, or lsungmin24@aischennai.org.
SAF is seeking student feedback
We care about what you think! We want to hear your voice! It’s clear to us that you’ve wanted more outlets to voice your opinion about various aspects of the school, and we heard you. That’s why we, the Student Advisory Forum (SAF), have introduced a new way for you to voice your opinion.
SAF has created a feedback form, where you can give any feedback (positive or negative!) that you have, and we will try our best to take action on it! There are only 4 questions, and none of them are required, so it will be quick. The survey is also anonymous. That said, please remember to use the form responsibly.
This link will stay in the bulletin, so if you ever have any feedback, please let us know! Link
SAF work this year
High Schoolers! The SAF Team has been proactively working to make our school better. We hope you have noticed these changes!
Here is what SAF has accomplished so far:
- Food-tasting to introduce new and healthy meal/snack options at the I-Hub:
- There will be five new “grab and go snack” options introduced in the coming weeks
- There will be new hot snack options by the beginning of March
- TV broadcasting the recipient’s name in hopes of minimizing people waiting at the counter (this is a work in progress)
- SAF Transformers have made Schoology (and soon RaptorNet Grades) more user friendly:
- Grade report view: teachers are able to indicate whether assignments are complete and students are able to see this
- Students are able to see their grades on Schoology
- Schoology links grades to PowerSchool
- Talked to Mr. Clinton about Schoology (what’s going on and what needs to be improved, based on student feedback)
- Helped introduce RaptorNet to encourage students pre-order and for families to load money on their child’s ID card
We hope you are looking forward to these changes! We are actively working to make your highschool experience better. Feel free to reach out to any SAF member if you have any questions or suggestions to improve student life at AISC.

If you’re not in track or basketball and want some time before the SAISA soccer season starts to get a little more fit and spend some time with the coaches, consider coming to the field on Wednesday mornings from 7 to 8 AM. Let’s knock off a few years of dust from those boots, and get a little time in before practices are 4 times a week! Please, if you’re in a current SAISA sport, wait until the season ends in a few weeks to join the regular practices — you’re already doing enough!
