Info & Tickets Available here: https://pages.aischennai.org/theater/hs/
HS Fall Production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare! A co-production with the Gender and Sexuality Alliance club, this comedic play portrays love as a blind, irrational, often beautiful force that can be both cruel and forgiving. Four lovers, Hermia & Lysandra and Helena & Demetrius, run away to the forest only to have Puck the fairy make two of the lovers fall in love with the same person. The four run through the forest pursuing each other while Puck helps his master Oberon play a trick on the fairy queen, Titania. Meanwhile, a group of crude tradesmen rehearse to perform the show of a lifetime to the duke.
There will also be an exhibition mounted outside the Theatre on the evenings of the show, curated by the GSA.

Toy Drive
Operation Smile is a global organization seeking to fund and provide cleft-palate surgeries for underprivileged children. As you can see above, a Cleft condition, left untreated, can lead to difficulties in feeding, ear infection, and dental misdevelopment, if left untreated.
This November, AISC’s Operation Smile club plans to conduct mission trips to local hospitals in India, where our students will interact with the children before they undergo surgery.
We need toys! Toys reduce the anxiety of the surgery
NHS is helping run a toy drive from
Monday, October 10th to Wednesday, November 2nd.
These toys are for very young children, ages 3-6, Appropriate toys including stuffed toys, rattlers, dolls, and other safe and durable toys.

Archery
Hello, my name is Jade and I’m in grade 12. As part of the IB diploma we need to have a CAS project. Mine is about teaching archery. I practiced it from grade 7 to grade 10 in France. When I came to India I found a club but it didn’t fit with what I liked so I tried to shoot in AISC but doing it alone is not really fun… But here is a new opportunity for me to share my passion ! My goal is for you to finish this semester or year knowing how to shoot well. So, if you are interested in learning a new sport it will happen on Saturday morning from 8.00 am to 10.00 am. We will start on Saturday, the 20th. Show your interest by completing this form. Thank you !”
