Dear AISC Community,
Happy New Year from the Board of Directors! As we begin the second semester, we look forward to another season of growth, collaboration, and community engagement at AISC.
AISC’s Board of Directors, comprised of nine dedicated members, serves as the governing body of the School. The Board is responsible for safeguarding AISC’s mission, upholding the Charter of the Association, and setting the strategic direction for the School. Serving on the Board is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the long-term success of AISC, work collaboratively with fellow community members, and make a lasting impact on the School’s future. Below are some important updates we would like to share with the community.
Seeking volunteers for Board Election Committee
In January of each year, the Board appoints an Election Committee to oversee the nomination and election of Board members in accordance with our By-Laws. If you are interested in serving on this committee or would like further information, please contact Sandra Alex (asandra@aischennai.org). Please register your interest by Friday, January 30.
Call for candidates to serve on the Board for 2026-2028 term
Once formed, the Election Committee will communicate with Association Members in early February to outline the electronic election process. This communication will include a call for candidates for the upcoming two-year Board term (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028), along with application requirements and election timeline.
We warmly encourage community members to consider participating in this important process and thank you for your ongoing commitment to AISC. We wish everyone a successful and fulfilling second semester!
